TechX Pakistan approached Mr. Avaid Iqbal at Freelance Fest ’22 and talked about many intellectual topics and highlighted the importance of Binance and initiating startups. Javaid Iqbal is a Cheif Commercial Officer at Special Technology Zones Authority.
Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) was established with a mandate to provide world-class digital and physical infrastructure by setting up Special Technology Zones (STZs) across the country and putting Pakistan on the global technology map.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan is the President of the STZA Board of Governors (BoG) as mandated under STZA Act 2021.
The Authority aims to build a technology ecosystem for entrepreneurship, R&D, and tech-driven innovation in the country for the youth by providing institutional and legislative support, and ease of doing business along with special fiscal and monetary incentives to facilitate and promote the technology sector.
Avaid Iqbal is a Mentor, Advisor and Cheif Commercial Officer; he explained how he manages all these designations stating that, ultimately these designations sound different but actually are not.
“As an advisor I think the lacking I find in tech owners nowadays is ‘confidence’ and ‘self-pity’ when a person knows his worth and knows he is the one doing right will solve all the problems he might face in his journey. We as a Pakistani are so talented and God gifted and the youth and emerging tech owners should not worry about the profits and money hurdles. You not only have to earn likes and shares on internet, you have to earn a place as a Pakistani in the whole world”
The basic thing according to me to initiate a startup is that one shouldn’t overthink. Pakistan is a feeling and I think youths should promote Pakistan internationally.
