DJI is getting set to unveil its newest drone, and it’s almost certain that it’ll be the DJI Mini 3 Pro.
While there has been no official confirmation on what DJI will announce at its ‘A Twist in the Plot’ event on Tuesday, May 10 at 9am ET / 2pm BST / 11pm AEST, multiple leaks indicate to it being dedicated to its next pint-sized flying camera.
The leaks we’ve seen point to something spectacular, so this is an event you won’t want to miss.
If you’ve been looking for a little flying camera with more functionality than any sub-250g drone we’ve seen so far, this is the one to watch.
With that in mind, here’s how to watch DJI’s biggest drone announcement of the year.

The DJI drone launch: What to Expect
All indications point to this event being the unveiling of the long-awaited DJI Mini 3 Pro.
For starters, the event’s name and the poster’s twisting camera lens-like images may allude to the Mini 3 Pro’s alleged ability to shoot in both vertical and portrait mode.
Furthermore, we can’t overlook the recent slew of leaks for the DJI Mini 3 Pro. This includes a DM Productions unpacking film that reveals almost every feature of the drone’s new design.
The video shows the drone’s new three-axis gimbal on the front, which appears to confirm claims that this camera would allow you to record both vertical and horizontal video, allowing you to customize your material for different social media platforms.
We also get a look at the new controller, though it’s unclear whether it’ll operate with other DJI drones like the controllers for the DJI Mavic 3 and DJI Air 2S did. That’s a tidbit we won’t likely learn about until after the game launches.
Furthermore, on April 21, a Dutch retail store may have revealed the drone’s existence, as well as its specifications and price in the region: €829, which is roughly $789 / £749 / AU$1,399.
