When the Suzuki GSX 125 was unveiled at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAS) in 2022, both fans and the general public were extremely intrigued.
Some intriguing information on Pak Suzuki Motor Company’s (PSMC) intention to introduce the GSX 125 in Pakistan has just come to light in a pertinent report.
In October 2022, the carmaker will introduce the new motorcycle as a completely built-up (CBU) item imported from Qingqi Suzuki, China, with the model name “GS 125Q.”
According to an earlier report from Horsepower Pakistan, PSMC would introduce the motorcycle in September 2022.
The corporation has apparently delayed launching once again as a result of unstable local currency.
Comparison with same CC bikes
As its name suggests, the GSX 125 sports a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine that produces 10.45 horsepower (hp) and 9.2 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. It will fight against the Yamaha YBR 125 and the Honda CB 125F.
Its curb weight is 126 kilograms, and many foreign bike reviews have noted that it has a fuel efficiency of 42 kilometers per liter.
It has a return shift pattern 5-speed constant-mesh transmission.
The motorcycle sports a standard drum brake in the back and a front disc brake with two-piston callipers.
It has two inverted fork tubes up front and spring-loaded shock absorbers in the back for suspension.
Given that the bike is a CBU and the rising exchange rate between the US dollar and the Indian rupee, its final price will probably fall between Rs. 350,000 and Rs. 380,000.
If so, the GSX125 will only appeal to a small group of bike fans.
