The ZV-1F camera from Sony is available for a reasonable price. It is a fantastic tool for content creators and in that aspect is a step above a mobile phone.
The third vlogging camera in Sony’s series is the ZV-1F. The gadget has a 20.1MP sensor, 4K video, and an easy-to-use interface.
Like its predecessor, the ZV-1, it has a Type-1 sensor as well as a wide-angle, 20mm zoom prime lens. The ZV-1F is a fantastic camera for shooting pictures of yourself because of its completely articulated display and extra vision.
The ZV-1F is not the best for shooting objects or people because of its low price.
To isolate your voice, the camera incorporates a directional microphone with a forward bias. A detachable deadcat is also available to reduce wind noise when shooting. The ZV-1F incorporates a front-facing tally light for recording and an ISO range of 125–12800.
Despite having a 2x digital zoom in 1080p and a 1.5x zoom in 4K, the camera lacks built-in stabilization. Only a 1.23x crop is possible when electronic stabilization is chosen. For 4K and 1080p videos, the ZV-1F offers frame rates of 30fps and 120fps, respectively.
Both of its speed settings allow for 60x hyper-lapse recording in HD, although only contrast detection is used for autofocus. Another feature of Sony’s ZV-1F is a bokeh switch, along with Shot Mark.
Making a quick clip (under 60 seconds) and sending it to a smartphone via the Sony app is made easier with the Shot Mark feature.
Priced at $500, the Sony ZV-1F vlogging camera will be available starting on October 24.
