Shehroze Kashif of Pakistan became the youngest mountaineer to reach the summit of the 8,586-meter Kangchenjunga peak earlier this month, adding another feather to his crown.
With his successful journey, he also became the first Pakistani to reach the world’s third-highest mountain, located in Nepal’s eastern Himalayas.

Kashif, also known as ‘The Broad Boy,’ is the youngest mountaineer to reach the summits of Everest 8849m, K2 8611m, Kanchenjunga 8586m, and Lhotse 8,615m.
The Pakistani ace climber allegedly began trekking at the age of 11. At the age of 12, he began his voyage with the Makra peak and progressed to the Musa Ka Massalah peak (4,080m) and Chembra peak (4,600m).
At the age of 19, he reached the summits of Minglik Sar Shimshal (6,050m), K2 Gondogoro La K2 Base Camp, Khurdopin Pass (5,890m), Broad Peak (8,047m), Khusar Gang-Alpine Style, and Mount Everest (8,849m).
Kashif, nicknamed “The Broad Boy,” became the youngest mountaineer to reach the peaks of mountains such as Kanchenjunga (8,586 metres) and Lhotse (8,615 metres).
