Pakistan has won its first medal in the ongoing 13th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships & Congress in Phuket, Thailand.
Asian Champion Shahzad Qureshi won a bronze medal in the men’s master bodybuilding category after finishing third out of 20 competitors.
Meanwhile, his countryman Ejaz Ahmed stood behind him, as Pakistani bodybuilders took two of the top five spots in the competition.
Following his remarkable achievement, medalist Shahzad thanked Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation president Kunwar Moiz and secretary Sohail Anwar for their support.
In addition, several Pakistani bodybuilders have yet to compete in various categories at the event, which runs until December 12.
