Famous magician Moulla and his Augmented Magic team have stunned the world with a ground-breaking invention known as the “dronebrella.” It’s a one-of-a-kind umbrella that floats above you and provides shelter without requiring you to hold it.
They used a camera and advanced “artificial intelligence” to make it follow you around like a drone during your walks. It can be manually controlled or set to “follow me” mode via a mobile app.
This hands-free umbrella is ideal for rainy days because it allows you to walk without having to hold it. It’s also useful for providing shade as you move around on hot days.
However, we must still figure out how it avoids obstacles in its path. We can’t wait to see how the dronebrella performs when it launches this summer!
Finally, new technology allows you to keep your hands free while keeping your head dry. The days of struggling with your old-fashioned brolly and desperately trying to keep it from being turned inside out by the wind may be over.
- How does it function?
The dronebrella makes use of a drone attached to an umbrella. It also has Artificial Intelligence software that detects the top of your head and stays above it.
The concept is based on technology that is already in use with self-driving drones. So the technology that powers the dronebrella isn’t entirely novel.
Before everyone is walking around with a floating umbrella over their heads, some design challenges must be overcome.
However, due to the numerous hazards the drone would encounter, such as powerlines, low-hanging signs, and other people, the dronebrella is not a practical invention for everyday use through busy cities.
