The Samsung Galaxy S22 and S21 phones have new updates of Android 13-based one UI 5.0 beta. Other than the additional changes, the most innovative yet attractive new feature of this update is the ability to quickly customize the phone’s lock screen by pressing on it for a long time. It seems like Samsung was dazzled by Apple’s newly released iOS 16 hence the feature was copied.
This feature of lock screen customization in Samsung Galaxy smartphones can be experienced by the users via the Good Lock app or from the settings menu.
Customizations of clock style, colors, font style, widgets, wallpapers, and much more are available on the brand new One UI 5.0 beta. This update was initiated by Apple on iOS 16 a few weeks ago.
Samsung’s One UI 5.0 beta and Apple iOS 16 are not so different in their features. One may observe that the Korean company duplicated the iOS features of wallpaper filter, clock style, and button placements.
Although, the new iPhone comes up with very few software updates and physical properties upgradation which shows that Apple is not widely known for an influential innovativeness strategy thrown in the market.
Nevertheless, Samsung is better at advancing new features because it let its users do several other customization activities.
