Even though he is still grieving his father’s death, Sajid Ali Sadpara has found a unique way to honor him. He puts on a suit with the Pakistani flag on it and climbs the 8,611-meter-high K2 mountain to clean up trash. His father is resting on this mountain.

Sadpara and his team discover a plethora of items at the K2 Basecamp, including used oxygen canisters, broken tents, and twisted ropes left behind by climbers attempting to reach the summit.
In one week, his team collects approximately 200 kilograms of trash from the world’s second tallest mountain.He stated that he does it because he is concerned. He adores the mountain and considers it his responsibility to look after it.
He attempted to climb K2 two years ago with his father and two other climbers. He had to return because he became ill, but the others continued on.
Sadly, those three climbers died on their way to the summit. They were discovered below a frozen section of the mountain.
Sadpara did the Islamic thing when they discovered his father’s body and marked the location with GPS coordinates.
When asked why he feels so connected to the mountains, he explained that being in the mountains makes him feel calm. But he’s disappointed that people’s actions have harmed the mountain’s beauty. “We ruined its beauty with our own behavior,” he said.
