Introduction
The V series is Vivo’s “mid-range,” youthful, and creative series. We reviewed both the V23 and the V23 Pro earlier this year and were very pleased with both.
After only a few months, vivo has skipped a number and is now part of the V25 family. Today’s review is of the V25 Pro. It is, at least in spirit, a phone similar to the V23 Pro.
It is aimed at a creative crowd, with an impressive camera setup that punches above its price class and a special emphasis on a great selfie experience.
In comparison to the previous generation, the V25 Pro now has a lower-resolution 64MP SAMSUNG GW1 sensor with EIS and, new for this year, OIS. The ultrawide camera has also been upgraded to a 12MP unit.
On the selfie front, vivo decided to ditch the second ultrawide camera in favour of a single 32MP Samsung GD2 camera.
We’ll have to wait and see if it truly represents an improvement over the dual selfie camera setup on the vivo V23 Pro, but the autofocus feature is still present. As a result, the V25 Pro is appealing to a younger demographic of social network enthusiasts and creators.
