In China, Realme has released two variants of the highly anticipated GT Neo 3. A normal GT Neo 3 is available, as well as a special model featuring 150W UltraDart Charging.
Realme claims that it can charge from 0 to 50% in just 5 minutes, making it the world’s fastest charging phone.
Design and Display
When it comes to design, the two phones are identical. Both have a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1080p.
This panel is HDR10+ certified and is driven by a separate display chip that controls the refresh rate to reduce power consumption when gaming.
Underneath the display is an optical fingerprint sensor.
Storage and Internals
The two phones are equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 SoC, a high-end processor that outperforms Qualcomm’s previous flagship, the Snapdragon 888.
This is combined with 8 to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 memory.
On the software front, Android 12 is used, with Realme UI 3.0 on top.
Cameras
A 50MP Sony IMX766 with Optical Image Stabilization is used as the primary camera (OIS). It sits beside an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera for close-up images.
Although it isn’t mentioned in the article, the camera is most likely capable of recording 4K 60FPS footage.
A 16MP wide-angle lens is used in the single punch-hole selfie camera.
Battery and Pricing
The Realme GT Neo 3 comes in two versions, as previously stated. The normal model has a 5,000 mAh battery with an 80W fast charging module on top, and the 150W model has a 4,500 mAh battery.
Because so much quick charging puts a strain on the battery, Realme has added more than 38 protection features to the battery. These techniques keep thermals under control while simultaneously extending battery life.
The battery should be able to maintain 80% of its capacity after 1000 charging cycles, according to Realme.
The Realme GT Neo 3 starts at $314, while the 150W version will set you back $408.
