When civil aviation inspectors examined the aircraft after it had landed, they found feathers and blood from birds in the engine.
The number of bird strikes at the nation’s major airports has climbed dramatically in recent years, yet nothing meaningful has done to address the issue.
According to a report earlier this year, many bird strikes cost Pakistan International Airlines millions of dollars in costs.

According to the research, the majority of these occurrences took place at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, with Allama Iqbal Airport in Lahore coming in second.
Later, the Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) director general made the decision to block Allama Iqbal Airport’s runway for two months at particular hours.
