Poco is planning two new budget models, the Poco M5s and M5. The handsets will be unveiled for the first time at the upcoming live event. M-family phones have always stood out for their high-end specs at a low price, and the incoming phones will continue the trend.
For all you Poco fans out there, here’s some exciting news. The rumour mill has unearthed pricing information for the Xiaomi Poco M5 duo, as well as storage configurations and digital design mockups. Here’s a rundown of the leaks that have been reported.
The M5 design is about what you’d expect (reminiscing the M4). Meanwhile, newly leaked renders of the M5s confirm rumours that it is a rebranded Redmi Note 10S.
Except for the black accent around the camera unit and the Poco branding inside, the designs are strikingly similar. Let’s take a look at what these phones have inside.
If the rumors are true, the M5s’ internal specifications should be the same as the Redmi Note 10S. A 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 13MP selfie camera in a punch hole, and an IP54 rating are all included. On the back, there are three cameras.
The Helio G96 12nm chipset will be found under the hood. Black, blue, and white are common skin tones. M5 media banners have already confirmed a MediaTek Helio G99 engine and a screen refresh rate of 90Hz.
The M5 is said to have FHD+ resolution on a 6.58″ LCD. The phone has a 5000mAh battery and supports 33W charging. A triple-camera setup can be found on the back.
Price
The base 4/64GB M5s configuration will cost around PKR 50,000, while the 4/128GB configuration will cost PKR 54,500. This device could come in two flavours: a 4/64GB model for PKR 41,500 and a 4/128GB model for PKR 45,700. The phone will be available in three colour options: black, yellow, and green.
