Regal Automobiles has slashed the prices of its Prince and DFSK models by up to Rs 300,000 each. According to the company, as the Pakistan Rupee strengthens against the US Dollar, it wishes to pass this benefit on to its valued customers.
The price reduction has been applied to certain models. After a Rs 300,000 price cut, the flagship Glory 580 Pro is now available for PKR 58.0 lac.
Previously, it was available for PKR 61.0 lac. The prices of the Glory 580 1.5L CVT and 1.8L CVT have not changed.

The Prince Pearl hatchback’s price has been reduced by Rs 250,000, making it PKR 14.99 lac instead of PKR 15.34 lac.
Finally, the price of the DFSK K07 van has been reduced by Rs 100,000. The K07 is now priced at PKR 24.69 lac rather than PKR 25.69 lac.
According to the notification issued by the company:
“We are happy to provide benefits to our customers for a limited period in view of the unexpected rise and fall of the Pakistani currency against the US dollar.”

These prices have been reduced for a limited time, which means that if the rupee depreciates against the dollar again, the prices will rise. Nonetheless, the company’s decision to pass on the benefit to its customers is a welcome gesture.
