Hyundai-Nishat has significantly increased the price of the Tucson crossover in Pakistan.
The Hyundai Tucson’s price has been revised three times during the year 2022, with the most recent increase being the largest yet.
Hyundai Tucson prices have been reduced by Rs 1,042,010 for the GLS Sport FWD variant and Rs 1,037,010 for the flagship Ultimate AWD variant, both effective immediately.
As a result, the Hyundai Tucson in Pakistan is now priced as follows:
- Rs 6,899,000 for the Tucson GLS Sport FWD.
- Rs 7,399,000 for the Tucson Ultimate AWD.
Tucson is the best-selling model in Hyundai-local Nishat’s lineup.
In fiscal year 2021-22, the Tucson sold 4,895 units, which is 36% more than the Elantra (3,610 units) and 76% more than the Sonata (4,045 units) (2,782 units).
The company has yet to announce price increases for its other models, which include the Elantra and Sonata sedans, but it is highly likely that they will be announced soon.
Hyundai-Nishat has also recently increased freight charges for its destinations across the country in response to skyrocketing fuel prices. Following that, other assemblers are expected to announce price increases soon.
