The images of Pakistan’s first Mercedes Benz EQE waiting for approval at the port have gone viral online. For those who are unaware, EQE is a full-size all-electric luxury sedan that goes up against the Audi e-Tron GT, the Porsche Tycan, and other comparable high-end electric cars (EVs).
According to the images, the model that was brought into Pakistan is the EQE 300+. It just has one electric motor, which propels the back wheels. It has 550 Newton meters of torque and 245 horsepower. The automobile accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.3 seconds thanks to its powertrain.
A WLTP-approved range of up to 550 kilometers is possible with the 89 kWh lithium-ion battery pack found in the EQE 300. Additionally, it boasts a fast-charging feature that enables a 10-80% recharge time in just 33 minutes.
The EQE differs significantly from conventional luxury cars in terms of appearance. It sports a smooth, rounded shape with subtle creases, as well as contemporary design features such a bigger front panel, contemporary headlights, striped LED taillights, sizable alloy wheels, and a sloping roofline that seamlessly blends with the body.
The EQE is a cutting-edge luxury electric vehicle (EV) with a tonne of contemporary features, including semi-autonomous driving capabilities, adjustable air suspension for a comfortable ride, multiple drive modes, a luxurious interior, cutting-edge infotainment, Mercedes’s patented hyper screen, and numerous comfort features.
All of these amenities cost over £74,000, which is a significant sum (Rs. 20 million approx). Including taxes, EQE will be significantly more expensive. As it waits for permission to leave the dock and travel to its owner, nothing is known at this time about the EQE 300 in Pakistan.
