The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a flood watch for parts of Balochistan as more heavy rains are predicted to fall on the country between April 28 and May 7.
The entire country can anticipate anywhere from drizzle to downpour at this time. Flooding is expected in urban areas, and light to heavy rain and hail are possible across 90% of Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Rainfall may cause flooding in costal areas of Pakistan
Due to a depression in the Arabian Sea, created by a westerly system that is presently approaching Gwadar and Karachi, high temperatures (up to 38 degrees Fahrenheit) are forecast for Karachi on April 27.
In coastal areas of Balochistan, including Quetta, PMD forecasts rain. Strong winds along the coast could cause flooding in the seas of Gwadar, Pasni, and Ormara. The deep sea is off-limits to fishermen as of late.
