Over the last three years, Pakistan’s army has gradually risen through the ranks, rising from 10th to 9th before landing in 7th place.

Using traditional methods, the index evaluates each country’s capabilities in land, sea, and air warfare. The United States, Russia, China, and India hold the top four spots in the ranking.
Pakistan is ranked higher than the United Kingdom and South Korea. Turkey’s military is ranked 11th, while Australia is ranked 16th. Iran, Pakistan’s neighboring country, is ranked 17th.

To provide a comprehensive analysis of modern military powers, the Military Strength Index examines various factors such as personnel, equipment, natural resources, finances, and geography. To determine the final rankings, it takes into account over 60 different factors.
