Japan and Pakistan have agreed to expand their cooperation in information technology.
On Tuesday, Japan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Mitsuhiro WADA, met with Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications, Syed Amin Ul Haque, in Islamabad. Senior officers from the Ministry of Information Technology were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the two countries agreed to expand their cooperation in the field of information technology.
Syed Amin Ul Haque, Federal Minister for Information Technology, told the Japanese Ambassador that Pakistan values its relations with Japan.
He stated that it is critical to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of information technology and telecommunications.
Syed Amin Ul Haque stated that Pakistan has a lot of potential in the field of information technology, and that Pakistani IT people can help Japan. He went on to say that Japanese IT companies can hire Pakistani IT specialists.
Amin Ul Haque stated that the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications will provide all available assistance to Japanese enterprises. The Japanese ambassador stated that Pakistani young are capable and intelligent, and that Pakistani IT expertise may benefit Japan.
He also praised the Ministry of IT and Telecom’s efforts to improve the IT and telecom sector.
