Oppo is expected to unveil the Find X8 in October, with the X8 Ultra following in the first quarter of 2025. As the launch date approaches, there are more rumours about the Find series.
A recent leak from tipster Smart Pikachu revealed new information about the X8’s telephoto camera and battery capacity.
Oppo Find X8
According to the tipster, the Find X8 “series” will include a telephoto macro lens (also known as a telemacro lens).
These lenses, as the name implies, combine telephoto shooters’ zoom capabilities with the ability to focus on objects up close.
5,000 mAh Exceeded Battery
The tipster also responded to a question regarding the phone’s expected battery capacity. Without providing specifics, he stated that it would exceed 5,000 mAh, which could be up to 5,500 mAh or more.
Furthermore, previous reports suggest that the Find X8 will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset.
Which is based on TSMC’s advanced second-generation 3nm N3E process technology.
Dimensity 9400 Chipset
The Dimensity 9400 chipset is expected to have a Cortex-X5 prime CPU core clocked at 3.4GHz.
Three Cortex-X4 super cores, and four Cortex-A7 large cores.
This flagship SoC is expected to outperform its predecessor in terms of power savings (34% at the same performance) and performance increase (18% at the same power).
