Abrar Hassan, a Pakistani biker and Vlogger, has completed a 50-day motorcycle journey to Saudi Arabia for the Umrah pilgrimage.
Before deciding to pursue his “greatest dream,” a bike ride to Saudi Arabia for Umrah, Abrar, a mechanical engineer with a German automotive company, had already travelled to over 80 countries, at least 12 of them on his motorcycle.
In pursuit of his dream, Hassan set out on 9 February from his hometown of Nankana Sahib, embarking on a journey that would take him across three continents and 50 days before arriving in Madinah on 27 March.
He then traveled to Makkah, Islam’s holiest city, to perform the Umrah pilgrimage.
Hassan expressed gratitude to the Saudi people for their “warm welcome” and love.
Arbab described a memorable experience from his trip to Saudi Arabia as meeting a group of women selling tea.
“When they came to know that I was traveling on a motorcycle from Pakistan to perform Umrah, they didn’t take any money from me and said ‘you are our guest’,” he said.
“Whenever I go out with my motorcycle… the support and love I am receiving right now are just incredible,” Hassan said after a video of his interaction with the women went viral on the Internet.
The love compelled Hassan to stay in the kingdom longer and explore other cities. He now intends to travel to Jeddah, Abha, Al-Bahah, Jazan, and AlUla near the Jordanian border.
