OGRA has sent a synopsis to the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) on Friday which suggests a decrease in fuel costs. The rundown will be then sent to the Finance Ministry for endorsement.
As per the outline, Ogra has suggested that costs of HSD might be diminished by Rs. 7.23 per liter and petroleum by Rs. 5.79 per liter, the sources kept up.
In the event that the administration affirms the proposal, the petroleum cost will go down from the current Rs. 116.6 per liter to Rs. 110.81 per liter and HSD cost will lessen to Rs. 120.03 per liter from the present Rs. 127.26 per liter.
OGRA has determined the cost based on Petroleum Levy of Rs. 18 for every liter on the HSD, Rs. 15 for each liter on oil, Rs. 6 on lamp fuel oil, and Rs. 3 on LDO. The position’s representative would not share the prescribed costs of oil based goods.
