Nokia is working on two more low-cost phones, both of which have been spotted on benchmarking websites and Bluetooth SIG, revealing key specifications.
Nokia New Models
For different markets, these phones are known as the Nokia G42 5G and G310 5G, with model numbers TA-1573 and TA-1591 / TA-1581, respectively.
According to these listings, both of these phones will have 6.5-inch LCD screens with a V-shaped notch for the unknown resolution selfie camera.
This screen will have a 720p resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz for smooth scrolling, and a peak brightness of 560 nits. Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 will protect it. On the inside, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 processor will provide low-cost 5G compatibility.
It will be paired with 4 GB of RAM, but some reports claim that it will have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage instead. It will boot Android 13 OS right away.
The listing makes no mention of battery or camera specifications. That is most likely where the phones will differ from one another.
There is no word on pricing, but based on the specifications, we can expect it to cost between $100 and $200. As of now, Nokia has not officially discussed these phones, so there is no information on a launch date.
