The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition was released nearly a month ago, and the mainstream K50 series are now available in China. The Chinese brand has confirmed that the K50 series will be released on March 17, with the K50 and K50 Pro being the most likely models.
The teaser poster also confirms the design that has been revealed in leaks and renders. The three cameras are arranged in a triangular configuration inside a large rectangular module.
The primary camera is labelled “108MP AI Triple Camera,” and there is a dual-tone LED flash.
The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, but the other models are expected to use one of three different chipsets.
There is no official announcement yet, but leaks imply that the Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8100, and Dimensity 9000 will be used in the Redmi K50, K50 Pro, and Pro+, respectively.
According to the TENAA listing for these phones, the K50 will have memory options of 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. The K50 Pro will be available in three different configurations: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB. The Pro+ model will include 512GB of storage.
The K50 and K50 Pro will both support 67W fast charging, but the K50 Pro+ will be able to charge at 120W.
In a month or two, the Redmi K50 series should be available in the international market, probably under the Poco F4 moniker.
