The advanced features will enable users to stop switching between the apps. Meta, Facebook and Instagram’s parent corporation, has launched new features for the application users which permit them to access, create, and switch between multiple accounts and profiles within the two apps.
To use this feature, the user should add both accounts to the same accounts centre, and merge them both in one place.
In accordance with Meta, this updated feature will allow users to view both profiles in one place, furthermore they can also see notifications for each profile to remain updated on activities across both accounts only if they add them to the same account centre.
Currently, Meta is testing this feature on iOS, Android and the web globally. New users can create an account and use a similar account to sign up for additional ones.
Furthermore, users with already existing Facebook and Instagram accounts can use similar login credentials from one app to access the other or to sign up for additional profiles. But for this procedure, a person should have a single Accounts Centre.
Each of these innovative features uses the Meta brand to make it plain and easy to grasp that the user is interacting with a feature that works across more than one Meta technology.
The most important aspect of account security and privacy is always prioritised hence it applies to updates also.
