To prevent impersonation in property registration, the Board of Revenue Sindh (BoR) and NADRA Technologies Limited (NTL), a subsidiary of NADRA, have decided to adopt NTL’s biometric verification technology at all Sindh Sub-Registrar Offices.
Transparency in property duplication issue
By allowing for accurate identification of those involved in real estate transactions, technology will promote transparency in the registration procedure for properties.
The goal is to ensure that the transfer of property ownership in the province is safe and secure.
Syed Ahmed Shah, Member (R&S) of the Board of Revenue, restated his commitment to transforming the BoR into a cutting-edge, efficient government agency that best serves the people of Sindh.
The government and corporate sectors of Pakistan have already implemented NTL’s very effective biometric authentication technology.
The risk of fraud and unauthorized property transfers will be greatly reduced by the adoption of this digital IT solution for property registration.
