With the Xiaomi Mi Note 10, we saw a milestone in smartphone camera technology with 108 megapixels.
Since then, we’ve been stuck at the same resolution, with no phone going above 108MP until today, but that barrier may be broken soon.
Motorola has just confirmed all rumours of a forthcoming 200MP Motorola phone.
The confirmation comes from a teaser that shows multiple smartphone camera sensors and highlights the 1/1.22′′ unit that sits between the others.
This detail indicates that the upcoming Motorola phone will use Samsung’s ISOCELL HP1 sensor, which is the only sensor with a 200MP resolution in the world.
This 200MP camera phone will be known as the Moto X30 Pro, and it was previously rumored as the Motorola Frontier.
Because the teaser campaign has already begun, we can expect the phone to be released later this month.
The X30 Pro may remain exclusive to China, but it may be released in the global market under a different name.
Some Specifications:
- Camera: it will have 200 MP giant performance camera.
- Display: The flagship phone is expected to have a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power it.
- Battery & Charging: A 4,500 mAh battery with 125W fast charging support.
