Recently, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) declared that in order to improve the aircraft service, charging stations would now be available in its aircraft.
Pakistan’s federal aviation minister, Khawaja Saad Rafique, has been giving the national carrier, PIA (Pakistan International Airlines), instructions on how to produce charging stations for passengers’ convenience.
These actions and directives were all covered in a high-level session. Many officials, including those from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), the Airport Security Force (ASF), and top representatives from Pakistan International Airlines, attended the meeting, which was presided over by Khawaja Saad Rafique (PIA).
Separately, 113 PIA workers were named in proceedings filed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for allegedly having false degrees. After filing a FIR against them, it launched an inquiry into 113 PIA employees, including 18 women.
According to reports, the FIA has identified 457 government workers on suspicions that they had degrees, and 113 of them are PIA workers from Lahore.
A high-level conference was presided over by the aviation minister and attended by representatives of the PIA, the Airport Security Force, and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
The group also discussed ideas for implementing cutting-edge security and passenger facilities. Additionally, a five-year development plan for the ASF was decided.
