The launch event will be livestreamed on a special website on Wednesday, July 26 at 10 a.m. local time in Bangkok, Thailand (12 p.m. JST).
The all-new Triton, Mitsubishi Motors’ sixth generation midsize pickup truck, features a slew of significant updates to improve performance and comfort.
This one-ton pickup truck is engineered to deliver safe, secure, and comfortable driving experiences in all weather and road conditions, thanks to a newly developed ladder frame and chassis and a clean diesel engine.
The all-new Triton exudes a commanding presence and ruggedness thanks to its reinforced body and striking horizontally themed appearance.
The front fascia is accented by hawk-like daytime running lights and three-dimensional headlights, adding to the vehicle’s intimidating stance.
Mitsubishi Motors’ division general manager of design, Seiji Watanabe, describes the new Triton as a daring creation that perfectly embodies the “Beast Mode” design concept.
The redesigned Triton, while displaying the expected toughness and power of a pickup truck, seamlessly integrates agility with Mitsubishi’s signature robust design, resulting in an imposing and powerful appearance.
The all-new Triton distills the essence of Mitsubishi Motors, providing drivers with a vehicle that ensures safe, secure, and comfortable driving experiences in a variety of weather and road conditions around the world.
The newly developed ladder frame, in conjunction with the innovative double wishbone front suspension and leaf spring rear suspension, provides exceptional driving performance and ride comfort.
Furthermore, the newly developed clean diesel turbo engine reduces friction loss while increasing output, improving environmental performance.
The combination of these cutting-edge technologies transforms the new Triton into a game-changer in the pickup truck industry.
