SEOUL — LG Electronics (LG) will debut a new audio product lineup at CES 2022, with a variety of models offering premium performance, unique and stylish designs, and exciting, new sound experiences, all while ensuring accurate, immersive sound for home cinema, music, and gaming.
The premium LG Soundbar (model S95QR) is the flagship of LG’s excellent audio lineup, with an output of 810W and 9.1.5 channels of pure surround sound immersion as a holistic high-end audio solution. With five up-firing channels – three on the soundbar and two on the separate rear speakers – to boost clarity and extend the soundstage for the ultimate in realism, including the world’s first center up-firing speaker.
The LG Soundbar’s center up-firing speaker offers sharper dialogue and makes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X content even more immersive, making it the ideal solution for movie buffs eager to improve their home cinema experience. Users can also enjoy spectacular three-dimensional audio when watching suitable content with IMAX Enhanced.
The LG S95QR comes with a number of improvements, the most notable of which is an increase in the performance of the new speaker drivers, speaker chambers, and subwoofer. The bigger woofers produce a higher-quality audio experience, with deep, resonant bass that mimics a cinema’s immersive sound system.
LG increased the number of channels in its premium soundbar arrangement from four to six in 2022, with four front/side drivers joining the two up-firing drivers.
The back speakers of the LG Soundbar are designed to deliver music equally across a wide 135-degree region, allowing consumers additional speaker placement and angle freedom, which is especially advantageous in smaller rooms.
The soundbar has a more sensitive receiver that enables for greater distance between the soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speakers without reducing sound quality. The LG S95QR reduces drops or lags in audio output thanks to a more robust wireless connection, allowing for distraction-free watching and listening.
The soundbar can up-mix two channel audio to 7.1-channels for more realistic acoustic surround sound thanks to Meridian Audio’s Horizon technology, which is included in Music Mode.
