Companies are making early announcements to create interest for their products ahead of next year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES). LG has also made an announcement for a unique yet intriguing TV that will be available next year.
The LG StanbyME is a 27-inch TV that operates on batteries and can be wheeled about on a stand, according to the Korean display manufacturer. You may adjust the height of the stand as well as swivel, tilt, and rotate the display on it. You may also remove the display from the stand and place it on your lap.
On the back, there is a fabric finish that gives a pleasant touch.
The StandbyME has a three-hour battery life, so you can easily watch a movie or binge-watch a TV show. This screen is LCD since LG does not create 27-inch OLED screens. The business hasn’t revealed any information on the resolution or other capabilities, such as HDR.
Because it has touchscreen capabilities and comes with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and other streaming apps, the TV may be used as a large tablet. It also contains a USB port and at least one HDMI port, as well as NFC capability for smartphone mirroring.
We hope to learn more about the CES 2022, which is set to begin in early January.
