A new app has made public by the KP Police to combat the trafficking of stolen and pilfered cell phones.
SSP Operations KP Police Introduced The New App
Furthermore, at the Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, Capital City Police Officer Ashfaq Anwar, DIG IT Irfan Khan, and SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi introduced the new app, FMC (find my cell).
According to the CCPO, the new app will link local police stations and registered mobile dealers in order to prevent the sale of stolen or robbed mobile phones.
Details of all the stolen and looted phones would provide to these registered dealers in the event that there was any suspicion.
Importance of This New App
Following verification from the relevant associations and police stations, the dealers will be registered.
An official stated that the city police would register all phone dealers and provide them with forms to gather information about everyone who sells phones to them.
According to CCPO Ashfaq Anwar, the local police are implementing steps to strengthen law and order, prevent phone theft and snatching, and discourage the use of technology for illicit purposes.
