Kia Lucky Motors has posted a teaser video on social media featuring a handful of their vehicles. Take a closer look at the Kia Sportage. It’s really intriguing to view the Kia Niro EV and Kia Stinger because the firm hasn’t yet introduced these two cars in Pakistan.
“Are you excited to witness the ultimate Kia experience coming to your city very soon?” asks the captions of the film. It suggests that the cars shown in the film will arrive in Pakistani cities in the upcoming weeks.
So, will Kia Pakistan be providing us with these two new vehicles? The solution is somewhat intricate.
According to the sources, the business would showcase these two cars at its various showrooms across Pakistan, but only temporarily.
According to the sources, “the tour of these cars will start shortly” and “the company wants to increase footfall on its dealerships, especially amid these tough times, so the tour of these cars will start soon,” with the Kia expecting that people will come to view them.
Although the Niro EV and Stinger CBU units have been imported by the corporation, their launches are not imminent.
According to experts, the global model Niro that is hinted at in this ad has been canceled. With the manufacture of Stinger coming to an end in April or the summer of 2023, there won’t be a replacement.
” We may expect a CBU Stinger as Stinger didn’t sell well globally, and there might be RHD vehicles unsold in inventory, which Lucky can import at a discounted rate and sell locally. The same is the case with Niro, or a CKD Niro has more chance with incentives on electric cars from the government.”
Other sources and experts, however, have slightly different opinions and believe that a CBU Stinger and possibly a CKD Niro can be expected. “However, Niro will not be EV as Kia Lucky is not currently focusing on electric vehicles,” according to the sources.
Overall, nothing is verified other than the fact that we won’t be receiving these cars anytime soon, particularly given Pakistan’s challenging economic climate.
