The Sindh government has stated that music teachers will be hired at the Basic Pay Scale 14 for the province’s public schools (BPS-14).
The appointment of music teachers now requires both a high school diploma and music certifications.
For those wishing to work as music teachers, certifications from the National Music Academy and the Sindh Institute of Music and Art are now required.
The list of upcoming appointments has been finished by the Sindh Education Department.
This year, the Sindh government decided to make music and art electives at all of the province’s public schools.
According to Minister Shah, music and art workshops would be launched in the province to “fight extremist inclinations.”
The province administration also disclosed 1500 openings for music and art instructors in June.
The summary of the upcoming appointments has been finalized by the Sindh Education Department.
