Over the course of the three days of Eidul Azha, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) gathered and distributed the offal and remains of nearly 130,000 animals, weighing a total of 2,278 tonnes. The CDA reported that their Eid garbage collection strategy was carried out smoothly around the city.
There were four distinct areas of the city, each with its own set of drop-off locations. The sanitation workers arrived early in the morning, ready to get to work with their machines, tractors, trolleys, and compactors.
