Islamabad Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Seeks Detailed Reports
Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has sought the detailed reports from Irrigation Ministers of Sindh and Balochistan. It had sought a report on the damage caused to canal embankments by recent spell of rains in provinces.

The ministers were asked to give detailed presentations on the scale of destruction wrought by floods in their provinces.
Briefings on the performance of their departments were given by two Irrigation Ministers, Sadiq Umrani (Balochistan) and Jam Khan Shoro. The reports also reported on the level of harm caused by this act and how efforts were being taken to restore the banks back.
It was decided to take a united stance on the formula for water distribution in country by both Sindh and Balochistan Ministers. Officials said the consensus was reached to place before the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) this agreement for approval.
The ministers briefed about the nature of damage and steps being take to address/repair failed embankments.
Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari offered the government of Punjab his help in health sector. This offering was part of the initiative to improve healthcare facilities in Lahore as well elsewhere across Punjab by providing services same like Sindh offered. In this regard, the services of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Health Minister Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho were also offered to Punjab as they have successfully made huge strides in improving health sector in their province unanimously.
