Users of WhatsApp cannot alter their online or offline availability settings. A user’s status as “online” to their contacts is updated every time they launch the app. Fortunately, we detail a variety of workaround alternatives for customers who prefer to access the programme in “offline mode.”
WhatsApp for Android:
Android users can fake being disconnected from the web by turning off their connection to the internet. To accomplish this momentarily, select “Airplane” or “Flight” mode.
Another option for going offline on WhatsApp is using the W-Tools app.
WhatsApp for iPhone:
With a simple adjustment to their settings, iPhone owners can toggle themselves into offline mode.
Simply open WhatsApp and click the gear icon in the app’s main menu.
Then, navigate to Chat > Privacy > Advanced. To turn off application timestamps, pick Nobody from the Last Seen Timestamp drop-down menu. Using this strategy, you can keep working while “offline.”
To undo this, just switch the Last Seen Timestamp setting back to ON.
