Directly installing from the Shopify App Store
- Open the Shopify App Store and log in.
- Search for the program that most closely matches your requirements, then click to choose it.
- You will be sent to the app’s listing page after clicking; select “Add app.”
- Visit your Shopify admin to approve the app and provide it with the required access.
- Then select “Install program.”
After installation, the app may be accessed and used through the Shopify admin’s Apps page.
Install via a link provided by a third party
- The install URL must be located on the app developer’s website.
- Select the link.
- To give the program permission to use your data, go to your Shopify admin page.
- To finish the procedure, click “Install app.”
Remember that this only functions for applications created before December 5, 2019, and their third-party install links. You won’t be able to install the program if it was built after May 5th and you’ll get an error notice. You will incorporate these applications at your own risk because they have not been verified by Shopify.
Install a specialized program using a special install URL.
- Employ a developer to create a unique app for your shop.
- You will receive the app install link from your developer, and custom app URLs are particular to your shop.
- Select the link.
- Give the application the required rights by visiting your Shopify admin page.
- Tap Install application.
The given URL will expire after seven days because this is an application created in association with your store. If the developer has a collaborator account, you may give them the complete app and channel access permissions, and they will install bespoke applications for you.
