The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will be released in China on August 14, along with the Redmi K60 Ultra and Pad 6 series.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 3
The upcoming folding phone has previously appeared in teasers, but this is our first official look.
As part of its ongoing teaser campaign, Xiaomi has released marketing images for the Mix Fold 3. These images reveal everything that was hinted at in previous teasers.
Mix Fold 3 Size
The Mix Fold 3 retains the Mix Fold 2’s iconic slim form factor. It’s unclear whether it’ll be able to outsize the Honor Magic V2, which is currently the thinnest folding phone on the market.
There is also a punch-hole cutout for the inner selfie camera, indicating that no under-screen camera technology is available at this time.
Camera
The Mix Fold 3 retains the phone’s rectangular camera island, but this time it has four distinct camera lenses arranged in a square layout in the corner.
The familiar Leica branding is still visible. The main camera features a VARIO SUMMICRON lens with an aperture ranging from f/1.8 to f/2.9.
According to rumors, the new folding phone will feature a completely redesigned hinge. If that claim is true, the teaser campaign will most likely provide some confirmation.
Colours Available
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will be available in two colors: black with a leather finish and gold with a glass back panel. Unfortunately, the Mix Fold 3 will not be available outside of China, so interested buyers will have to import it.
