Samsung has broken records left and right with its unboxing event for the Galaxy S22 series. During the unboxing of the Galaxy S22 Ultra at the #EpicUnboxing event on March 5th, 1820 pre-booked participants from 17 different countries tuned in to unbox the smartphone at the same time. A new Guinness World Record was set with the simultaneous unboxing.
With 100,000 pre-orders, the Galaxy S22 series became Samsung’s most pre-booked device in just 72 hours.
As a thank you for attending the event, the company also sent out limited-edition boxes to its customers. The boxes not only contained a Galaxy Watch4, but also Galaxy Buds2.
In addition, customers in India received a thank you note in the box. The Galaxy S22 series is set to be released globally on March 11th.
