Four Pakistani students have topped different subjects of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams, which will be held in December 2021.
Arham Ali and Usama Maharir from Lahore, according to details, topped the Maintaining Financial Records and Managing Costs & Finance exams, respectively.
In the Management Function exam and the Recording Financial Transactions exam, Komal Bawani from Karachi and Umair Jan from Peshawar outperformed all global candidates.
In this regard, Assad Hameed Khan, the Head of ACCA Pakistan, praised Pakistani students for working hard and continuing the tradition of outperforming their global peers.
He went on to say that in recent years, Pakistani students have consistently topped global ACCA exams, establishing the country as a global hub for world-class ACCA talent.
Three Pakistani students topped different subjects of the ACCA exams held in March 2021 last year in April. Kahaf Moid and Ali Shan from Karachi took first place in the Audit and Assurance and Financial Reporting exams, respectively, while Fakiha Masood from Faisalabad took first place in the Advanced Taxation exam.
Previously, two Pakistani students outperformed everyone in the 2020 global ACCA exams. Zara Naeem of Lahore won the Financial Reporting exam in December 2020, while Muhammad Abdullah won the Strategic Business Reporting exam in September 2020.
