On Wednesday, four factory workers in the Hashim Town neighborhood of Nawabshah died after breathing hazardous gas at a pickle business. The victims breathed the gas in the basement of the pickle business, including three members of the same family: Nasir and his sons Danish and Salman.
According to eyewitness stories, they went downstairs to the basement one at a time to help their frightened coworkers, where the deadly gas killed them one at a time.
In related news, two bodies have been recovered from Nawabshah’s floodwaters. Shamhir Dahri and Liaqat Ali have been recognized as the victims.
In the Nawabshah neighborhood of Amir Dahri, Dahri’s corpse was discovered. He supposedly perished on his route to the Kacha region. The remains of Ali were found in a hamlet close to Sem Nullah. The search for the relatives of the deceased has begun, and the bodies have been taken to a hospital.
Witness accounts indicate that the employees went to the basement’s lower level one at a time to assist their struggling coworkers. As the cellar filled with dangerous gas, the employees gradually lost consciousness and perished in the horrific occurrence.
