Pakistan Railways has stated that two special trains will run to help people return home for the Eid holidays.
Officials say one train will go from Karachi to Lahore and another will run from Karachi to Peshawar.
One of the special trains is set to depart from Karachi’s City Station at 2:30 PM on April 29 for Peshawar, according to details released by the railway authorities.
The second train, bound for Lahore, will leave Karachi’s Cantonment Railway Station at 7:45 p.m. on April 30. Both trains will have a passenger capacity of around a thousand people.
Prior to this announcement, Pakistan Railways announced that passengers travelling over the upcoming Eid holidays will receive up to 30% off their tickets.
On Eid holidays, the department said it will offer lower rates as usual to make it easier for people to visit their families in all areas of the country.
It is a great initiative taken by Pakistan Railways, and it will give an immense pleasure to people who lives in northern or interior areas of the country. Eid is a month when these people wants to meet and share their happiness with their families.
