Endeavor, one of the world’s most prestigious nonprofit organizations, is attempting to establish itself in Pakistan.
“We declared the official launch of our 40th site, Endeavor Pakistan,” said Endeavor Global President Adrian Garcia-Aranyos, “although we are still in active search of a managing director (know anyone?).”
We couldn’t be happier, he said, because our interest in having a presence in Pakistan, as well as its brilliant board of directors, has been building for some time. The President of Endeavor Global stated during his visit to Future Fest that Pakistan has a lot of entrepreneurial talent, both locally and globally.
Mudassir Sheikha, co-founder of Careem and a member of our founding board; Shahid Khan, CEO of Flex-N-Gate; Mansoor Ijaz, founder and CEO of Crescent Investments Llc; Tariq Farid, founder of AST Research; and… Kumail Nanjiani is the creator of Pied Piper. According to his LinkedIn page, a Pakistani was even part of the “core IT team” of an HBO technology series.
We’ll soon see a lot more exciting developments in Pakistan, he said.
