Vivo is preparing to release its second-generation smartwatch, which will arrive a year after the first. The Vivo Watch 2 has already started showing up in leaks and certification listings, indicating that it will be released soon. Now, a more extensive leak has revealed its functionality as well as the watch’s appearance.
The information came from the Chinese social networking site Weibo, and it includes rendered graphics as well as some of the wearable’s functions.
The Vivo Watch 2 will look remarkably identical to the original, except with flat buttons on the side instead of crowns, according to the leaked image. The silicone straps and the iconic round dial are both unchanged. Leather straps will also be available, as they were last year.
The display on the watch reveals some of the forthcoming features, such as a heart rate sensor, step counter, GPS, and voice call capability. Previous reports that mentioned e-SIM support corroborate this. The watch will also have a 501 mAh battery, which will be twice as huge as the original.
There’s no word about a release date yet, but given that we’ve previously seen leaked images that appear to be marketing materials, the announcement is very certainly imminent.
