Former President Donald Trump will play golf with Bryson DeChambeau on YouTube. Bryson missed the 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy also missed the cut.
Bryson won the 2024 US Open. He now focuses on the presidential election. Three days after missing the Open, Bryson posted on Instagram. He stood with Trump on a golf course. Both had their arms folded. An American flag marked the hole.
Bryson wrote, “It’s time for @realdonaldtrump to show YouTube what he’s got.” Bryson’s YouTube series is called “Break 50.” He tries to play 18 holes in less than 50 strokes. He plays with famous guests.

Trump is in the news. He is running for president again. He was president from 2017 to 2021. He faced Joe Biden in November. Biden withdrew on Sunday. Democrats will pick a new candidate.
Biden and Trump argued about golf in a debate. Bryson then had the idea for his series. He invited both Trump and Biden. Bryson said on X that his video with Trump is not a political endorsement. He invited both parties.
He posted, “Break 50 with @realDonaldTrump dropping tomorrow on my YouTube channel! We will donate $10,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project for every stroke under par. Stay tuned.”
Bryson also wrote, “This is about golf and giving back to our nation’s veterans, not politics. I invited both parties’ campaigns. @realDonaldTrump accepted the challenge. It is an honor to play golf with any president. All presidents are invited to join me for a round of Break 50 anytime.”
Bryson wished Trump well after he was shot in the ear at a rally in Pennsylvania on July 13. He wrote on X, “Violence has no place in this world. Praying for President Trump and his family. Wishing for a speedy recovery.”
