In Pakistan, XORD is a notable Blockchain development and research firm. In 2018, the roots of XORD were laid. This journey began with the goal of using Blockchain technology to bring openness and honesty to corporate procedures.
In addition, it was the consequence of shared interest among the XORD co-founders, who were classmates at the time. As additional like-minded and eager individuals joined aboard, a little startup began to take root and develop.
As Pakistani, we feel immensely proud that a team of young university students came up with an idea to use blockchain technology and work on it. XORD team is a mix of competent professionals who know how to meet customer needs.
If we consider the in-house talent and use them more and more we can create more opportunities for our people rather than outsiders. Pakistan is home of talented people and especially in the Computer Science field. We have a bunch of talented and technical people who are spreading and will always spread the positive picture of Pakistan all over the world.
Talking with TechX Pakistan at GITEX 2021, Co-Founder XORD, Salman Khan told about his journey that how he and his friends founded the company. He stated, “It was my 3rd year of university, the year was 2018 and at that time that blockchain technology was newly introduced in the market and we were learning it. My educational background is totally related to Computer Science and my interest is also in blockchain technology. So I and my university friends decided to open a company which works on blockchain technology.”
Furthermore, he stated, “If we talk about the investment it was very less, one of our friends has a vacant apartment so we decided to utilize it. We gather some money and purchase second-hand furniture. In the beginning, we were just 4 people, all are classmates of each other. We decided to take roles according to the specialization we have.”
