The federal government made the decision to pay early all federal government employees and retirees of Christian community for the month of December in order to honor Christmas.
The Controller General of Accounts received a letter from the Finance Division on this.
Christian Community To Get Salaries in Advance on Account of Christmas
The Finance Division sent a letter to the Office of the Controller General of Accounts requesting that the required arrangements made in order to pay salaries and pensions to federal government employees of Christian community on December 20.
It is important to note that this is common procedure and that last year, on Christmas, federal government employees also received their advance pay and pensions.
