According to a local news channel, cement sales in Pakistan have fallen by 5.78% to 4.007 million tons in October 2023.
Overall Cement Sales Declined in October 2023
According to the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA), overall sales in October 2023 were 4.007 million tons, a 5.78% decrease from the same month the previous fiscal year.
Local sales in the country totaled 3.292 million tons. It also stated that sales remained at 3.890 million tons, a 15.38% decrease.
Exports Increased by 97.33%
However, exports increased by 97.33% last month to 715,028 tons, up from 362,350 tons in October 2022.
Exports increased by 19.24% to 570,101 tons in September 2023.
The local sales in September 2023 were 3.544 million tons, while the sales in September 2022 were 4.2 million tons.
