PayFast is a FinTech licensed and regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan. It allows any business to receive online payments from its customers through a variety of methods, thereby ensuring more sales conversions and growth. The company aims to facilitate digitization and transform the payment landscape of the country.
They’ve reached several hard-won milestones in their service to Pakistan’s shift toward digitization and financial inclusion, and they can confidently say that their journey has only just begun.
Talking with TechX Pakistan, the Business Head of PayFast Mr. Daniyal Ahmed shared his views regarding Pakistan Tech Fest 2022 and his company vision and mission. He said, “Pakistan Tech Festival is a great platform for people like us and it’s been a wonderful experience so far. It helps us to know industry and people’s demand what they are really expecting and how can we fulfill their demands.”
Furthermore he added, “PayFast is the Pakistan’s first commercially licensed E-commerce payment gateway and we provide check-outs and check tools. The first one is a direct check-out for all those e-commerce businesses who just want to do payments like credit and debit cards servicing including Union Pay. Since we are a third party service provider of Union Pay and similarly Pay Pak.”
He also said, “We have our own in-house product Pay via account for all those businesses who are not comfortable with card transactions and they would like to use more nominal option so we are directly integrated with 15 banks so far and digital wallets as well to cater this demand.”
